Evaluation: How did you attract/address your audience?

I attracted my audience by using a model in the age range of my target audience which attracts them because they will see a person of around their age and will instantly think that it is targeted towards people their age and seeing someone their age will also make them think it will be more interesting as seeing, for example, an old man on the front cover will not appeal to them as much and they won't think it's going to be interesting because they can't relate to anything.

The magazine was written by me and I fit in with my own target audience so the language it is written in will be understanding for other people it is targeted at. The style of my magazine also attracts my target audience because of its 'Polaroid' style cover and in the generation of my target audience, they will more than likely be familiar with them and will be attracted to the magazine by first look. Although my magazine is targeted at both female and male, I think that looking at the front cover, females will be more attracted to it. Especially as their is a young girl on the front so males will think it's more for females to read.
